Started in 1995, Betsy and Gregory Hart opened Blue Sky Trading Company in Lamere Square in Ludlow, Vermont. Quickly out-growing the space, Blue Sky was moved to its current location at 160 Main Street. During those years, Blue Sky has mirrored the transformation of Okemo Mountain Resort and Ludlow as the store's size, visibility and patronage increased greatly.
Greg, a Vermont native, and Betsy, hailing from New York and Pennsylvania
(or as they say in Vermont, a flatlander), have fused their individual styles
to create a distinctive shopping experience reflecting their dedication
to feature quality Vermont-made wares and unique jewelry, pottery, blown
glass, art, and home decor and accessories. In kind, Blue Sky is proud to
offer old-fashioned, small-town personalized service where the staff is
knowledgeable and friendly.
Although much has changed over the last 9 years, the mission of providing a unique offering has not.
